The Reason Why We Think Organic Food Is Better for You
We're not scientists, nor are we here to preach. However, we firmly believe that organic food is healthier than the non-regulated conventional food that a large portion of our population consumes. This is because certified organic produce is grown without the use of harmful chemicals, from the soil to the harvest, and on to the consumer.
To ensure the authenticity of organic claims, various government and private organisations have established strict auditing programs for farmers, wholesalers, producers, and retailers. These audits verify that products labelled as "certified organic" are indeed 100% authentic. The way for sellers to demonstrate their organic certification is by displaying a Certified Organic License, which can be revoked or suspended if they fail to provide evidence of full compliance.
Proving the certified organic status of a product is a rigorous process, which is why obtaining and maintaining the certified organic license is so important. In contrast, conventional non-regulated food has no such standards or controls over the use of harmful chemicals and toxins, which can be extremely hazardous to our health.
