The amazingly versatile and nutritious hemp seeds in this product contain high quantities of all 10 amino acids including the omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids. This product is made with our highly digestible and naturally sweet Khorasan flour.

Khorasan is one of the ancient grains and has a great many advantages. Khorasan has a rich buttery taste and an excellent texture. The buns have a generous quantity of quality sun dried sultanas and currants mixed with the very best mixed spice.

Khorasan Rolls are offered in a six-roll pack and are an alternative to our popular Spelt Rolls. This product is made with our very popular Khorasan flour giving it a naturally sweet and rich flavour.

If you like hot cross buns you will love our spelt fruit buns. They combine the nutritional advantages of spelt, have much more fruit than hot cross buns and are made with our sour dough culture. Spelt buns have a rich fruity flavour with the sweet hint of exotic spices.

Wholemeal Rye Sourdough has a rich hearty taste, is a rich source of dietary fibre and has the very distinct advantage of being made from wholemeal rye flour. Wholemeal flour is 100% extraction meaning it retains all parts of the original grain including the fibre rich bran, the germ and endosperm. Most processed grains remove these in the milling process thereby removing most of the beneficial nutritional content of the grain.

All the goodness, taste and nutrition is also conveniently available in rolls, both wholemeal and white spelt.

An exciting addition to our range is this gluten free loaf. A mixture of five sprouted grains, seeds and legumes are blended to create this new delicious and nutritious product.

The recipe has been taken from the bible and crafted according to the scripture verse Ezekiel 4:9. Our loaf contains the sprouted grains – wheat, spelt, barley, millet, and sprouted pulses – lentils and soybeans. The bread is very flavoursome with the lentils dominating the taste. Khorasan is an ancient wheat grain believed to originate from the Fertile Crescent in the Middle East. When compared with common, modern day wheat, khorasan has a higher level of proteins and minerals such as zinc and selenium which are vital antioxidants nutrients. The grain itself is much larger than common wheat as about twice the size and is much lighter in colour. Our sprouted khorasan loaf is popular for its milk, slightly nutty flavour. It is perfect for those looking for a high energy food and is a great alternative for people sensitive to modern wheat. it contains gluten however some people with sensitivities can tolerate the gluten in khorasan.

Spelt is an ancient grain which originates from Fertile Crescent of the Middle East. Our sprout spelt loaf boasts a mildly sweet and nutty flavour. The grain is known for its many health benefits. It is highly water soluble which allows the body to easily absorb its high level of nutrients including, vitamin B2, niacin, manganese, thiamine, copper, and magnesium. The gluten in spelt has a lower level and different molecular make up than modern wheat. The grain is more fragile which, along with its high fibre content, makes it easy to digest. Some people who have an intolerance to wheat gluten, find that they are able to consume spelt with no ill effect.
