Directions for Use

It’s 3.00pm. You’re sitting at your desk listening to Janet trying to figure out how to print, thinking ‘cake’. You’re fighting through heavy traffic to pick up the kids from school, thinking “I don’t have time for this!” and also ‘cake’. Well, we’ve been thinking ‘cake’ too… Brown Rice Cakes that is. Our Brown Rice Cakes are light and crunchy. Airy enough to float you away… to Thailand perhaps. Which funnily enough is where they began their journey. They’re made with the Jasmine variety of rice, a heritage long grain, that’s grown organically and sustainably in its original form, in a way that helps positively shape our world, while looking after the farmers putting in all the hard work. TO COOK: Add 1 cup of polenta and a pinch of salt to 4 cups of boiling water, stirring continuously. Simmer for 5 minutes. Take off the heat and fold in a knob of butter and grated parmesan cheese, if desired.

Chia seeds have a mild, nutty flavour. They're very subtle in their taste, though some find the taste to be similar to a poppy seed or an alfalfa sprout. In raw form, the texture of the dry chia seed is crunchy and dense (much like a poppy seed as well). Chia seeds are an excellent source of fiber, which can improve heart health, reduce cholesterol levels and promote intestinal health. Beef mince is one of the most versatile cuts of meat, always handy to have some in your fridge or freezer to cook an easy and nutritious meal. Cooking Instructions
Sausages can be barbecued, char-grilled, grilled, pan-fried or oven roasted. When cooking our sausages, the slower they are cooked the better they taste.

We recommend oven roasting at 160C for 20 minutes. If you cook them at too high a temperature their skins will burst.

It is true sausages contain fat – this gives them some of their flavour and keeps them moist. If you want to remove some of the fat, we suggest you simmer or poach sausages for about 20 minutes prior to cooking.

Sausages can be barbecued, char-grilled, grilled, pan-fried or oven roasted. When cooking our sausages, the slower they are cooked the better they taste.

We recommend oven roasting at 160C for 20 minutes. If you cook them at too high a temperature their skins will burst.

It is true sausages contain fat – this gives them some of their flavour and keeps them moist. If you want to remove some of the fat, we suggest you simmer or poach sausages for about 20 minutes prior to cooking.

Our traditional, handmade sausages are gluten and preservative free and contain certified organic ingredients. Your sausages will be delivered to you in a biodegradable tray. As our sausages contain no preservatives, they have a shelf life of 5 days from the day they are made. You will receive 3 sausages weighing approximately 450g.

Bokchoy, is a crunchy, emerald green cabbage that has a subtle "cabbagey" flavour that can sometimes taste like celery, and is packed full of vitamins.
